세상을 아름답게 보는 눈은 마음의 눈이다

매일 아침 전율을 느끼며 잠에서 깨어난다. 하루하루가 나에게 주어진 기회라고 생각하며 목적의식을 가지고 열심히 살고 싶다. 사랑하는 두 아들들에게 좋은 아버지이고 싶고; 아내에게 좋은 남편이고 싶다. 힘든 시기를 참고 곁에 있어준 가족에게 그만큼의 보답은 해야 하지 않겠는가. 그리고 꿈이 있다면 내가 겪었던 어렵고 힘든 시절의 이야기를 요즘의 약한 사람들에게 들려주고 싶다. 세상은 바쁘고 커지는데; 요즘 사람들은 많이들 약하게 산다는 생각을 하곤 했다. 나도 이렇게 했는데; 누군들 못하겠느냐. 나에게 기회가 주어진다면 내 삶을 바탕으로 세상을 사는 법에 대한 강의를 하면서 많은 사람들과 다 같이 힘내어 살고 싶다. 또 한 가지 계획하고 있는 것은; 훗날 마음 편하게 읽을 만한 나의 책을 한 권 쓰고 싶다. 넘치듯 행복한 삶을 선택받지 못한 내가 지금 이렇게 즐겁게 사는 것이 가끔 꿈처럼 행복하다. ‘뵈는 게 없으면 겁나는 게 없다’는 나의 신조를 담은 자서전을 한 권 쓰는 것이 꿈이다. 내가 지금 이렇게 세상을 아름답게 보며 마음의 지압을 할 수 있다는 것에 큰 의미를 두어 병으로 아프고 고통 받는 힘든 사람들과 더불어 살아가겠다.
